This list is not exhaustive, but if you do these things regularly, you will see results over time and learn more as you go.

Post daily

I give this advice all the time. You cannot be a steemit blogger if you do not blog. This post you are reading is an example of this theory in action. My laptop cord is broken, and I am posting from my phone right now. My arthritic hands, wrists, and whole upper body are screaming from a few days of this.

But as much as I tried to get through a day without posting, the fact that I can do it got me to try. As you will see below, I have autovoters who support my posts. If I do not post once day, those votes do not arrive.

I hear you say you cannot post daily, but yes you can. Try these places for quick posts

You can prepare posts once a week and then only need to post quickly each day if you get organized.

Post with the esteem app

Download the app, join the Discord channel, and start posting daily with the app. You have a chance for good upvotes with this method, so put your best foot forward.

Post with busy dot org

This is another place that can get you a good upvote on a daily post. Your upvote value depends upon the collective sp of your followers. You cannot beg for followers here. The only way you will get them is to be active in the ways I am showing here.

Post to the dtubesnap tag

This initiative sponsored by @nathanmars is a good one and can be done quickly. You only need a one minute video from your phone and you may get good upvotes with it.

You have a lot of excuses about why you can't do this. I know! Me too! But give it a try for 30 days and you might surprise yourself.

Join kryptonia dot io

This is more advice I give often. I have been using kryptonia since February and it has really been a boost for me and my posts.

Use it. Sign up. Start doing a few tasks a day. In 14 days you can start listing your own tasks, and voila! Now you will get a good daily upvote and lots of good comments on the posts you list.

@qurator will give you a daily upvote once you pay to join and get approved. Once there, you have many opportunities to get bigger daily upvotes.

Join @scrooger's feedyourminnows

@scrooger is the mastermind behind @qurator,and this is a smaller and similar program. Visit his blog each Monday and sign up for your weekly vote. You will be glad you did. Send him the winning gif for his weekly theme and get an even better upvote.

Buy or win SBI shares

Steembasicincome gives you an upvote on each post based on your number of shares and posting frequency.

I am on the hunt for as many shares as I can get and win a few each week now. I also run two comment contests each month with SBI shares as the prize.

Go to the blog of @steembasicincome to see a post for the current contests and enter them. I win because I am often one of FEW people entering, not because my entries are so great.

Enter contests

Along the same line as above, enter contests as you come across them. I have won a number of them just by dropping a photo in a comment section. Other contests call for you to make a post. So there you are! Your daily post is done!

Join steemit Discord channels

I did not do this until recently and I should have done it earlier. Now I am in about 30 steemit Discord channels and join every one I see now. This is my research phase and I will surely drop some channels and add more as time goes on.

So far, this Discord thing has been one big win. I have a good place to find contests, get news, and make friends with other active steelers I would not meet otherwise. There are surely Discord channels for you, your location, your interests, and all the places you post to, so get on it!

Use PAL for upvotes

This is a Discord channel and if you follow the rules, you will get a nice upvote each 30 hours.

Comment on other people's posts daily

Give yourself a number as a goal and take this step daily. Comments are in short supply here and you will make a difference by this action. Additionally, you will see other posts and learn from them. And finally, you might get a new follower and make a friend.

Some Discord channels reward you or require you to comment on other people's posts. Be sure to do this and your steemit performance will improve.

In conclusion
