I'm glad you got some rain! That should help your new trees. Did you get them all planted yet? The river really rose five meters? That's a whole lot of rain! It has been raining here this morning, but it's really just drizzling.

Yap! The rain water comes from Laos and south of China including north of Thailand! It took about four days to gain five meters, I suspect that the dams in Laos have been opened to release excess water.
We did manage to plant 11 trees today. It’s been raining all day, on and off. The earth is soft and wet which is good for young trees.
