Steemmonsters Daily update
To start off, these are my latest rewards from playing the best game on the STEEM blockchain which is of course @steemmonsters. If you are not playing yet it's definitely time for you to get started and join the rest of us.

At the moment I am sitting in Gold I, but this should change soon as i push to move up into the diamond leagues where i spend most of the season. In gold I, I am currently getting 8 reward cards for the daily quest which I complete religiously. My deck isn't the strongest but it is mostly complete to level 5/6 bar the fire splinter which I sold off to fund the rest of my team. It means that I can take on any quest in gold / diamond and can usually finish it out fairly easily. If I get fire as a quest you are allowed one change per day so I can just switch to any of my other splinters to play with.
I collect my cards every day and feel that I am doing fairly well from the game but until now I have never looked at how the reward cards stack up for me. For the next while I will be keeping track of each of them to see how it turns out over the course of a season.
Daily reward cards
( This is taken on the 06/02/19 and prices will change on a daily basis but I will keep these numbers for the duration of the season.)
Going off the average market prices for all of the different rarities of reward card and breaking down those prices we get:
- Legendary - $2.711
- Epic - $0.222
- Rare - $0.068
- Common - $0.034

Now most of these I will be combining with my own collection to try and max out the reward cards but some I will be selling to strengthen my beta cards as well and try to keep my deck nicely balanced. It's more of a financial experiment to see how much value there is to be had from playing the game on a daily basis.
Let's see how it plays out over a full season of @steemmonsters.
I forget to play when I come home for work. I haven't play this season at all.
I am still in bronze, but I have also only played 2 seasons :D

Keep going with it. It's like anything here that it takes time to build up the deck but the further you get the better it is.

Haven't played the past few days but will be back in the weekend! I'm mostly curious to see how long the reward cards make it interesting enough to play daily :-)
Nice to see you over this side. I'm curious myself but more as to how much value you get from the amount of time that goes into it. I've played a lot of hours since it started and while I do love the game I like the rewards too. I'll keep this going to the end of this season at a minimum just to see how much value you get from it.
I'll keep getting my dailies and see where we all end up.

Yes, for now I play the games for 20 minutes at a time, whenever I need a break from something else and with a cup of coffee. Some earn nice rewards in tournaments, so you can look into that too :-) Curious to see if you think it's worth your time!
Don't get me wrong, I will still be playing either way. I think the game is great but if i am spending 30 hours a season and getting $3 in cards there is probably something better to be doing with my life.
Maybe trying to achieve inner peace or something like that. Much of a much actually. I've played some tournaments too, they are good fun. Some great players in there, they have a really high level to compete against.
One of the better pulls I assume!
I am stuck in Gold II.
Both last season I managed to make it to diamond II but I doubt that this will happen this season!

Not too bad for today. I tend to stay around gold to win easy dailies and then make a push the last couple of days to get higher. I've gotten champion 3 the last few seasons but it was just about got there and a last minute job every time.

Normally I am at Diamond III at the moment. But I do think that less players are playing the game!
Could be a false feeling of course!
That's a nice level to be at. Takes me a lot longer to earn the rewards when I am in there but I should creep back in there soon enough. Just need to win a few together.
Just got into Diamond as we speak but having difficulty completing my daily quest there! Fingers crossed!

That's the thing for me as well. I can fly through the quests in gold but once in diamond it can be a struggle to finish them. I tend to wait until nearer the end of season to move up the levels.
Once you max out the reward cards you can buy the normallys from the proceeds of the daily quests. Win win. Thats the dream anyway but it's better to put in the work now before the game gets popular. I'm the same as you but my the life splinter is my weak hand but i complete the quests daily and my reward cards are all around level 5/6 so its working well. My challenge will be to level up the summoners. They are all fairly expensive even now.
That is the plan so will keep playing and keep building up the deck. Tournaments are where the action is but you need a really strong deck up to level 8 to compete in the gold ones. That and a lot of legendaries.
