He is pretty good. When he was with Hootie and the Blowfish they were more pop/rock. His new solo thing is country, but I would consider it fringe country. More crossover pop than anything else. It is still good stuff though.
Yes Listening to one of his albums now and I am not a huge country fan but i like his stuff
I wondered why his name was familiar maybe from Hootie and the Blowfish, we have a friend here inthe music scene who played backing for them for a few years
