'Feline Felons'
If looks could kill........
But hang on! Don't judge a book by its cover, or a cat by his demeanor. "Angry Eyes" appears to be rather peeved at being behind bars and I couldn't blame you if you thought he'd been hard done by. What possible crime could a cat commit to cause an inconvenient jail sentence like this?
Let me explain. "Angry Eyes" was just one of many fabulous felines being judged by a very dedicated group of cat judges at the Coffs Harbour Show, in New South Wales, Australia. And before you jump to wrong conclusions "Angry Eyes,' wasn't angry because he felt imprisoned. He was upset that his turn was taking way too long and he was getting very bored and somewhat impatient with the waiting around. You see, his much needed, afternoon cat nap had been unecessarily delayed.
And to prove my point.....here he is, (post judging) purrrrr-fectly content in his cosy little cage. Finally, he could lay his fluffy head down, stretch out his paws through the bars and sleep, feeling very assured of securing first prize after scanning the room for a cat as handsome as him and failing to do so.
'Amber Eyes' was on the prowl. You know how it is during these beauty pageants. Some contestants enter for the sole purpose of hooking up with an individual who attracts them the most. 'Amber Eyes' didn't mind admitting he was ready to settle down and time was of the essence.
He wasn't interested in the slightest of going home with a satiny blue ribbon around his neck. He was intent on finding, 'Mrs, Amber Eyes.' Let's hope he finds her. There was plenty of fluffy females waiting to be cat-ivated.
'Innocent Eyes' Well......this was her first show and she didn't know quite what to expect. She looked around with more than a little anxiety and couldn't help but feel overwhelmed.
But that was before 'Amber Eyes,' (in the cage opposite) told her she was the answer to his wildest cat naps. Yes! It was love at first sight. This black, smooth talking, debonair suitor managed to put 'Innocent Eyes,' at ease and told her to present her best profile for the judges because she was a winner in his eyes.
There she is, having purrrr-fected the diva pose. Her confidnece was restored and she felt like a regal princess, knowing that her prince was watching her every move with unabashed adoration.
'Wary Eyes,' had similar self doubts to 'Innocent Eyes,' There was no way she was going to shut her watchful eyes for a second. Jealousies and insecurities ran rampant at contests like this and although she couldn't match others in the beauty department, she had won "Miss Popularity" last year and extremely competitve rivals were all too willing to take her crown this year.
As far as she was concerned, they were welcome. She knew she was never going make head lines on the 'Cat Walk,' but knew her turn was coming and she wasn't looking forward with the way she had to be prodded and poked and examined by those over eager judges.'Wary Eyes' was much loved by her doting owner and that was all that mattered to her.
Whereas 'Aristo-Cat' (below) was in a cat-egory all of her own.
No plain curtains for this beauty's cage. Oh No. She had to have the latest, most expensive, embroidered curtains to match the exquisite markings on her highly groomed body. "Only the best for my magnificent moggy," was the cat-ch phrase she woke up to day every single day.
And if her owner had anything to do with it, Aristo-cat will strut home with yet another ribbon to add to her trophies.......and a generous serving of caviar for supper, win or loose.
My apologies to all cat lovers for the poor quality images. It turned out that I had the wrong setting on my camera.

haha! yes Ma'am it was so clever that it more than made up for any image issues which I don't think were anything serious, people probably just thought you were playing around with the photos again! lol. The post was super clever and cute though! Even though I rarely use that word cute. lol. I don't like anything associated with me to be "cute" lol.
Haha....the last image needed a bit of digital attention because it was so bad to begin with. The editing didn't help much. 😁 I promise to 'try' and remember not to use janton and cute in the same sentence. But my memory isn't as good as it once was. 😁 😊 😁
