Not many birds like to settle in busy areas, depends on trees in the region, food availability.

We have Indian Mynah birds (Asian bird introduced in 1900 now thousands of them) they will nest in robot lights without a thought as to where they are. When the Cape (Blue) Starlings arrive they chase the Mynah birds, similar size with a little more attitude. Both nest in built up areas without worrying too much about humans.

When I first bought the bird house we had a good layer of trees between us and the road, but the week after they cut down a lot of the trees, to stop trees falling on powerlines in the area, and now its pretty clear between us and the road, was so frustrating I must admit
