Thanks for stopping by, @plantstoplanks. I never told you but every time we converse, I’m reminded of Katie, the little neighbor girl I lived across the street from when we were like 6th grade to maybe 11th, she and I were the same age—they had a pool. A dope assets pool with a slide, diving board and a cover you could walk on. I was over there every.single.day in the summer time. They had two bulldogs with smashed faces, her dad, Henry, was a retired fire chief and her mother, Patti, was a nurse at the same hospital as my mother.
Well it seems like you're keeping up alright up to this point, so barring any unforeseen keyboard accidents you're doing a-ok on the food sharing front! 😉
That's a nice Katie memory. I've never lived in a house with a pool, though we did have a hot tub for a few years in high school which was still pretty cool at the time. The closest thing we have now is the neighbors yard fills up with water when it rains really hard. Usually not a pleasant time to go swimming, though, haha!
