I have totally been there with the seagull thing. We used to fish off the rocks all the time when I was still living back home in Nova Scotia. The rocks were pretty high up in some spots and the gulls would swoop in and try to grab the fish as you pulled it up. Kida funny to have one on your line and trying to fly away. Once when we were fishing for cod we pulled up a Sculpin. What an ugly fish.
