Those noodles we know in Germany for a long time, we call them "Sternchennudeln". I ate them as a kid already, 60 years ago.
And better don't suggest cooking soup from "Fleischpellets" - those are typically found in dry dog or cat food here. :)
We do have little meat balls for soups, I guess they will do the job, too.
