Spicy Homemade Lime Pickle To Eat With Curries! 😉
Here is a picture of a large jar of home made spicy lime pickle that is often eaten with Indian curries.
Lime pickle is spicy, sour, tangy and salty. Entire pieces of lime are "pickled" in this spicy mixture and become chewy and edible. As a fermented food eating lime pickle could provide positive microbes to the gut.
I really like things that are spicy so I love all kinds of pickles - the hotter the better! When I saw this huge jar of homemade lime pickle I just had to grab a few photos to share with you.
The next time you eat Indian food ask for some lime pickle and enjoy - just be careful it can be hot!

We eat pickles a lot in the Ramadan season and the Ramadan season is approaching a few days later.
Yes I have tried them! Very tasty! 😉

I tried curry but never tried that before, is that also served in restaurants?
@jockey
It is available in restaurants.It is classed more lile a relish and served with the salad.You wouldn't eat loads.Just a spoonful to flavour the rest of your meal.There are soooo many variations.
I see thanks. I will definitely get that when I got an Indian restaraunt next time. I have a lot of Indian friends and the food they make is delicious! @pamcooks
