Picking Up Where I Left Off

I don’t like to disappoint. I don’t even like the wOrd like condescending, those who called me, know why you never heard back from me.

From me a playback, a glimpse, idiosyncrasies, whatever they’re calling these things. Here’s a few that make me tick.

Tick stop the second hand on steel wheels it stands still, hip-hop free from drums submerged in words and verses that feel real.

Feels real compared to what? Imagination runs until you’re down in your luck with no food, no gas, and a day and a half away from safety, real compares to none.

None is accurate it I vouch for it and second it. Two hours from the house it’s pouring now and the snow’s starting to stick.

Stick it out another offramp, find a lobby somewhere for shelter, as we peak under the eaves for clear weather we’re here together.

Together on this gravity defiant shared surface sharing thoughts and thoughtless re-enactments because we believe it’s worth it.

Worth its weight in gold, so we’re told, whatever that means. It means we’re holding up the bowl and eating everything they feed.

Feed as in #news is called spam not food, who’s to believe false advertisement’s appetizing? Tell me, what’s a news feed to you?

You aren’t buying into a printed opinion painted for mass appeal that holds weight and navigates by using plots that are not real.

Not real like a general warning: ‘May cause cancer’ when the truth is their packages backed with death is the answer.

Answer me this like a riddle, what’s the author talking about? Juggling concepts around I doubt a third person thought out loud about.

About face! That’s the thought made to plague society these days, we turn away from maintain and trade it away for front page.

Front page distraction: “Hurry! Hurry! Step right up!” We got everything you need right here where’s your cup?

Your cup runneth over I’ve heard that somewhere before, backed with more support with plans to stack some more.

More of what? More of what you need like the type of soul to strike a pull and leave you half the green.

Green screen on tv interfering to be seen with weather reports, more to ignore and everything in between.

Between a rock and a hard place, who’s listening to what? I’ve heard of them against us but this is getting ridiculous.

Ridiculous like out of rhythm toxic nonsense investments. Change the subject, take the first step, make it worth it play amusement.

Play amusement like an instrument and use it as you grow, tell me about the time you packed up #life and waved goodbye to all you know.

You know it isn’t as crazy now as I thought it was back then when we were selling off possessions destination unknown residences.

Residence as in the place awaken nothing exceeds basic to believe these worldly things exist beyond this is mistaken.

Mistakes, embrace them, I just wrote an article about it. Speaking of writing, I’m wondering how long I can continue #writing like this.

Like this picking up where I left off adds a challenging touch by ending sentences with a wOrd that’s the beginning of the next one.

One at this price, one of a kind, once in a lifetime is every moment. Hold it like you own it shown you’re not alone and quote it.

Quote it again until it sinks in to memory like scenery when everything around you moves freely, seeing is believing.

Believing what you see and hear is nothing without feeling, appeal the healing, fear no speaking as we seek to be reseeded.

Reseeded as in see again, seeing through these making sense, made to reminisce about the last wOrd at the start of every sentence.

Every sentence precedes exits without a period to shut it down, add some commas, look around and talk about how its over now.

Now is just a wOrd who’s #history once it’s quoted, noted. Picking up where I left off only seemed like a lot until I wrote it.
