Yes some rules do not make sense. I remember going to school to have lunch with my 5-year-old for his birthday. There was absolutely no talking allowed during lunch. Really??? And they could care less if anything was eaten at lunchtime, I saw several plates of food scrapped into the garbage just so the kids could get out of the cafeteria and outside where they could be kids.
How to ask the children to keep quiet? Play and talking is part of them. Good news is there are schools emerged nowadays to emphasise on play time and interactive moments, but those schools are usually private and costly. Hope the country's education system will change. =)
