It depends on how big the hole is.
Pipe is a cylinder shape , which is mandible. Depend whether it do have Rust or Not.
Thing such as Exhaust Putty could works on it.
Which probably less than $20.0
Are you in Canada ??
All you need to do , get under your car and use your HP to take some photos.
I will tell you more when I see it.
May save you $400 , if you do it yourself.
Thanks so much for this info @bullionstackers. I will definitely check it out. I am in the U.S. and I can't get under my car to take a picture of it. When the mechanic was showing me the leaks I did see a lot of rust. My son is out of town and when he gets home I will relay this info to him. Sorry for the late reply but I just got home.
