RE: A life worth living (Five minutes freewrite)
We Happy Few, anyone?
The idea of attitude manipulation is always an interesting one in fiction. It brings up questions of the morality of it; if you can make people enjoy a less than perfect life, but it requires erasing a bit of what would be considered free will... should you do it? Or is a bit of sadness worth that extra bit of comprehending the reality around you? It's a harder question to answer than one might think.
