It Leads To Stupidity

A wise old Jedi master once said that fear leas to anger and eventually hate, but it also leads to absolute stupidity.

I have been watching this American political drama unfold now for about two years and it's very much like Game of Thrones or House of Cards. It's gotten to the point now where it has become more of a comedy than a serious drama, and no I don't mean this in regards to Trump being a joke. He will never be the silver tongue politician that everyone is use to, he says dumb shit all the time and that's why people voted for him, because they are sick to death of the current modus operandi.

I find it so comical that there are still people who perceive him to be some crazy dictator, the only problem is that this view needs to be based in some kind of reality, which it is not. My question is, how long could the opposition and the supporting media continue this narrative, how stupid do they think people are. Well it seems they are more stupid than we would actually like to admit. Simple economic concepts are are completely misunderstood, things like how to provide social welfare when the country is $21 Trillion dollar in debt, but they somehow this just eludes people.

We in South Africa currently have an insane social welfare problem, and we are well on our way to becoming the next Venezuela. Our government has started to increase taxes everything they possibly can to increase social welfare, which is currently sitting at 19 million people which is about 42% of our population. Then you add government corruption to the mix and you are a recipe for complete and utter disaster, while the same time pushing racial divide between the people.

It just occurred to me. Eureka, I have the answer. I think we SHOULD provide basic health care, for a number of reasons. But now I know how to fund it without removing an F35 from the roster every 5 years.

Couch it as Corporate Welfare. That way no company would ever be forced to provide health care for the grubbing peasants ever again. Morgan Stanley could just pocket the difference. THINK OF THE BOTTOM LINE!

Just fund it by removing the oil exploration grants and tax relief. Call it 'the Rockefellers have enough' amendment. If Standard/Exxon/Mobile needs further oil exploration maybe consider it a business expense? Instead of a National Defense Need. Would that be so hard?

Sorry. I get wound up from time to time. Thanks for the selection as always. Wouldn't want to not make ONE F35 every 5 years.

No don't be sorry, I completely agree with you, why is policing to world the responsibility of the American tax payer? That is completely ludicrous, at least make other countries pay for it, but they don't, they just write IOU's. I also think at the same time you can't have open boarders with a welfare state, it's either one or the other.

Shows how stupid I am. When I was in debt and struggled to pay my bills, I thought I was poor. Now after working my whole life to be debt free I find out that to be rich I needed to go so far in debt that I could never pay off my debt. I should have thought of using my kids credit card to buy things I didn't earn. Not being smart enough to understand how that is a good thing, I guess I'll have to spend the rest of my life being a poor man that pays for what I want or need.

Hahhaha thanks that was brilliant and gave me a good old chuckle. I'm with on that, I'd rather be poor with no debt and pay for what I need.
