I have made @papa-peppers homemade fertilizer.
Hiya to all, recently I watched a video of @papa-pepper making homemade fertilizer from stinging nettles, and I was amazed how easy it could be done.

I filled mine just about to the top with stinging nettles, then added water to cover it, I also used the stems too, but this was out of choice not necessity. I have placed it in a plastic drum with a lid so that i can use it quicker.
I did however get stung a bunch of times through my plastic gloves, and I got it good on my head too I bent over to pick the tub up and put my head straight into the nettles I was picking.
It was good fun, i am going to see what happens over the next few weeks. this has probably saved me a lot of money as I buy liquid fertilizer often at a cost of £7.99 each, so big thanks to @papa-pepper for saving me some cash.

Wow! Very cool! I can't wait for your results, just remember to dilute it, because it is some powerful stuff. Have you tried any raw, like in my other video?

I've not tried any raw buddy, the thought of it makes me cringe to be honest, I remember having nettle tea at my great aunt's house and I really didn't like the taste of it, but that was many years ago and my taste buds might have changed since then, I just don't know.
I am planning on watering it down like you said, I went through loads of plant feed at the old house, now I am in this house I have a massive back yard and a massive garden too, I am planning on making super cool, but with us only been her since april I am still sorting the inner before moving out and doing the garden.
I am doing bits though, I like them fence posts you made out of metal mesh and rock, I thought that was really cool idea, I could do with a how to video so I know how to make them, step by step. :D

why thanks @papa-pepper. I have just tried eating raw nettles I was showing the kids they cold be eaten after watching your video.
they were freaked out big time, I rolled it an bit into it and nearly spewed my guts up, It tasted a lot like spinach, and I really hate that stuff too.
I do like my salads and veg @papa-pepper but my anti used to make this spinach soap and make us eat it, otherwise we could not get down from the table to play, and I have never been able to eat it since. haha
That's great but don't forget to keep some nettles to make tea with. Its delicious :-)

I don't like the stuff, haha maybe one day i will give it a try again but it wont be anytime soon. hehe
I was always freaking out when I got stung many years ago. Now I just look at the blisters and admire how powerful the nature is :D

thank you @delishtreats, a lot of @papa-peppers stuff he does I copy, not for my posts but in my garden, he really is one of the ones i like to follow on here as he has so many good ideas.
