Hi lovely Steemians,

This is my entry for the challenge by @anomadsoul on "Get To Know Me". He had this brilliant idea for us to go down our memory lane and read all of our own posts, then to select 10 posts which we love so for people to get-to-know-me more.

Therefore, while the Hardfork20 was stabilising, I did browse through my past posts and selected 10 which I love. It wasn't an easy choice as there are more than 10 which I love, but yup, below are the 10 amazing posts which I had come out with.

(Fuh, I thought doing compilation is easy but I took almost 2HOURS for this, copy and paste many times, writing the description, adding photos, formatting, etc)

My 2018: Your Around My Town

I absolutely love this blog of mine, partly because it was a contest hosted by @anomadsoul and I won 6 Steem. Hard work paid off as I took almost 3 days (or more than that) to tour around my town to take alot of photos. I had visited every corner of my town just to ensure I covered most of it to showcase to lovely Steemians here. Just a warning, this was a super duper long blog, the longest I had ever made into steem blockchain. Hence it was one of my favourites. My husband actually remarked that I could change my job to be a photographer. Lol.

The Road Less Taken

I love this one because partly it was a storytelling contest by @teammalaysia (I am proud to be Malaysian), partly because I won 1st prize and mostly because it is my real life story of my son who was born with a deadly disease. It was never easy to write about him because I tend to become emotional but nonetheless, I took the courage to pen down every single detail so that I is imprinted forever in the blockchain.

This is straight forward, it was me introducing myself to Steemit. And I remembered I spent hours for this. Aha! Because I needed to search photos here and there, and writing about myself is never easy, so yup, hours gone just for this particular blog.

When Adults Cry

As a mother, I see alot of meltdown daily from my children. They cry. They bawl. They whine. They throw tantrum. And to some extend, it is permissible for them to behave that way because they are still young. Usually, parents will compel to comfort them (although in a few occasion I ignored them due to them being unreasonable), and surprisingly strangers will willingly offer their help to console the child too.

However, what happen if adults have meltdown? Often, I came across adults tearing at the corner of somewhere, hiding themselves so that no one would see them.

I am quite amazed at my own writing considering I was barely one-month-old in Steemit.

Essence of Success: Love & Patience

It was beginning of the year and everyone was making resolution 2018. So it got me thinking what would be my essence of success for 2018. I took 4 hours for this blog, sitting at a corner of McDonalds and blogging about it. When you first started blogging, it took longer hours for some solid post. I read again my own post on this one and it sort of set as a reminder to love more and to be more patient.

By Ginger Bread Man

Besides blogging, I attempted countless photography posts too. You know as a beginner in the platform, you practically just learned and tried different things to explore and to gain knowledge. I fell in love with photography and this particular Ginger Bread won me some photography prize too. Also, I was being funny trying to write a story of the Ginger Bread narrating his own story.

Egg-stremely Loved

This one won photography prize too. I can't believe those days I did spend alot of time arranging the food and taking photos of them. And with some dashes of thoughts on love. It is a good read even for myself, haha.

Why Must You Love Your Spouse

For this one, I shared my own thoughts on why must we love our spouse and showcased him a little as well. Plus I had fun drawing the stick figures. Lol. And you noticed my description gets shorter because my fingers are tired from the typing. I did all my post via mobile phones and I felt some numbness on my wrist now.

Polo T-Design for TeamMalaysia | Contest

This one was my entry for the Polo T-Design contest. I did not win but my brother won. And yes, we will have our own Steemit Team Malaysia Polo T soon. It is in the process. Yay!

Over20Club Post

Last but not least, I compile my favourite freewrites into this post. It talked about how freewriting had kept me going on Steemit. Had I not stumble upon freewriting, I would have given up, not because I did not like Steemit, I absolutely love Steemit and Steem, but due to my slightly stressful lifestyle, Ii find it hard to juggle and balance. But yup, I am still here.

Compilation of Task 1, 2 and 3 for Sndbox Quest

I remembered I found out about the quest late. And oh my we had 3 tasks to complete. So it was hours of rushing to make 3 post and rather difficult task to complete but I made it. And I won this first task to be eligible for the next quest.

Sndbox Final Quest: Project Which Promotes Steem

It was indeed a memorable experience to be under @sndbox's guidance while we were in the final quest and so much fun getting to know my team members and to work together with them. We brainstormed together. We motivated one another. And we came out with the final product for our project. Although this project was not selected for the Summer Camp, the journey I acquired was something I would not trade for. Once again, thank you @anomadsoul and the rest of the team and @sndbox.
