Helping Hand | Healing the Homeless | The State of Anarchy

Do you ever find yourself pondering why Cities across the Earth are so rich and fancy, yet filled with so much poverty and despair?

It seems like despite all of the flashy buildings and public amenities, the least fortunate among us litter the streets of the busiest most economically active sectors of Philadelphia.

Literally the heart of the City, Suburban Station is the transit epi-center of the Market Banking Sector and Geographic Midpoint of Philadelphia. Yet despite all of this wealth and financial power among us, those right outside the doors, sitting on the floor of the hallways of the Train Station, are looked at as a stain on the fabric of our fine City.

The Stain however, is the utter lack of conscious empathy for our brothers and sisters who are currently experiencing a situation of Poverty and Homelessness. It astonishes me that we can't as a community dedicate one Sky Scraper to being a hydroponic Vertical Farm or Public Shelter for the Homeless, let alone even acknowledge these Human Beings as we walk past them on our way to whatever frivolous distraction we are heading towards in an attempt to numb ourselves even further to the pangs of our dying society.

Melissa Carangi, my younger sister is a Woman who has awoken her slumbering Spiritual Awareness, and her natural empathy and desire compelled her to TAKE ACTION to aid our fellow brothers and sisters!

After Celebrating Thanksgiving and realizing how hard this time of year must be for people who don't have much to be Thankful for, she incepted what would become the very first Contribution to the Helping Hand Project!

Her idea was simple, buy a bunch of raw fruits and veggies, create a bunch of different dishes for a Vegan Potpourri Bowl, and bypass literally EVERY SINGLE Societal hurdle (The State, Corrupt NGO's and Non-Profits, Economic Forces that induce poverty) and just take the most Direct Route Possible

3. Feed the Homeless

It was easily the most triumphant and fulfilling Act of Anarchy and Civil Disobedience (I believe Feeding the Homeless is Illegal in many American Cities) that I had ever been a part of.

Realizing how Simple and yet how Powerful this Idea was, we decided to make it a recurring thing, where every two weeks or so we'll cook a large meal and go out and find our hungry brothers and sisters and give them love and a meal and remind them that they are not forgotten.

I am making this into an Open STEEM Tag/Community where anyone can post a video of them cooking and feeding the hungry in whatever location they reside in, and they will all be up-voted by TSOA and our affiliates!

The Ultimate Vision for Helping Hand is an ever-continuous flow of people going out and actually taking an action that has a direct an tangible positive impact on Society. There will be a point where the Up-Votes will help Pay for the Food and even give financial energy and subsistence to the Helping Hands out there Healing the Sick.
