Community building or Slavery ?

Dear Friends,

I'm adding this post with great disappointment about this platform as steemit team is continuously promoting unethical behavior of country community admins. I continuously bring new recruits to this platform and I openly mention them to post freely in both our communities and we @team-srilanka do not only accept posts from our delegators. I strongly believe a country community should support the newcomers from the start and they should be given the oppertunity to study this platform. But when looking at how things going and how steem team responds to those acts , I ask a question from myself weather this is the right platform.

Do a member need to delegate to the community account to make a post ? So how can a newcomer post to a community if this continue like this ? This is not acceptable as they always say it's the sri lankan community. But I don't know how can they be as they support sri lankans like this .. lol.

isn't this slavery ? what is this ?
Delegate us or you can't post

As the team agrees above ,

Thoes who have delegate or transfer coins for voting services will be skipped. They should focus to delegate any community curation projects.
Read

To get the support from the team curation accounts and to make a post in a country community .. newcomers should delegate all their SP to the community curation account.

Delegate us or you can't post

The funny part is steem team fully supports this unethical behavior. I'm really disappointed with this act of the team and if it's wrong it should be corrected. That's what a good user supportive platform should do. Anyways our Sri Lanka-ශ්‍රී ලංකා will always accept anyone's fair article with no issue and we will support as much as we can always.. as from the start. I like to finally say , for the all the sri lankan members who are active ( in both communities ) that I do not support any of this unethical acts and I do not have any connection to these acts. You have always my support and feel free to post in Sri Lanka-ශ්‍රී ලංකා anytime.

Thank you.

Hi @besticofinder,

I highly appreciate your action. Do really have to delegate with a community to post? If we do not have enough steem power to delegate, can we not post? Of course this is unfair. I have seen the Steemit team take action on the wrong things. And I think they will take action on this as well. And a lot of the people in authority here will definitely see this post. If they don't look at it and make no comments, it's like supporting such actions.

If someone publishes an article on plagiarism, there are plenty of people who will talk about it in public and oppose it. There are plenty of leaders. But there is no one to speak against such a this.

When you see a mistake, being silent without objecting to it is an encouragement to that mistake. One must have a good personality to speak out against wrongdoing.

Thats totally wrong @steem-sri.lanka theres no rule to mute a content if its not a plagiarism. Also nobody can force someone to delegate them. Specially as a newcomer, they have the right to delegate what they want they are still learning. Here in srilanka we all must support newcomers from srilanka.I dont know others opinion but im dissapointed about this really. As a ශ්‍රී ලංකා community, we must support every srilankans as much as we can. When @steem-sri.lanka have voting power, they should help all the other newcomers as much as they can. Also i have seen this comment to @nalin10

As a leading community of srilanka. I personally dont agree with this✋

I also saw this in an article by @nalin10. Here is the link to that post.

I think the Steemit team should take good action in this regard.

Totally agree with you malli !

@besticofinder highly appreciate the step you took to openly talk about all the discriminations happening to Sri Lankan’s on Steemit.

No matter what we lose let’s stand on behalf of the Sri Lankan newcomers!

Let’s move forward removing all obstacles that comes in our way - we are team 🇱🇰 ❤️

Personally I appreciate how open minded this community is. Thank you so much ayye. As a new commer I got this wrong idea like "does this mean it is essential to delegate to a community to post something in there? So do I need to choose a one Sri Lankan community to post forever? Did I do something wrong?" So I immediatey deleted my post before something happens.

I agree fully with what you mentioned here. We all are Sri Lankans and must rise together by helping eachother. That is why I always appreciate your kind and great effort @besticofinder.

That's what my point from the start when I found this platform.

We all are Sri Lankans and must rise together by helping eachother.

Exactly. Together we win !

Agree with you on this. Steemit is a decentralized platform and the concept itself speaks. Users should be guided but given the freedom to create their own path. Felt bad after seeing some of the comments made on newcomers, they are being discouraged not guided.
Also, good articles should be accepted even though they are not from your personal experience.
So I really appreciate the service you are doing with the Sri Lanka community helping newcomers and also giving value to good articles.

I was really surprised after seeing this comment from @steem-srilanka and really disappointed while other expatriate communities are being corporates with lots of outside newcomers like us. As a newcomer to the STEEM community, I would like to thank you for @besticifinder, @teamsrilanka for their genuine support.

I’m still studying about this platform as a newcomer. So we need a right guidance to exist here. Those kind of comments demotivate newcomers. Then, we feel insecure here. It’s so unfair to tell someone that don’t post in this community unless you delegate to that community.
So disappointed as a Sri Lankan!!!

This is why I appreciate this community so much. We can post any good content here and I have noticed that this group give guidelines in a more kind way to members even when they are caught doing plagiarism.

Thanks nangi ! Keep up the good work !

I totally agree with the details mentioned here. In Steemit platform, the new comers and everyone who is willing to grow and make their path should be accepted with a good guidance but not with a dominance. The precious concept should be GROW TOGETHER other than the nothing else.

Do your best decently and grow yourself.

Yes .. should guide them .. not ruling them. Members here do not get the benefits of decentralization

I feel that they purposely neglect this basic concept of the platform or don't they even get it into their minds?

Hats off @besticofinder. Great explanation. I think there should be no barricades for posting an article. Especially for newcomers. Once again I would like to thank @besticofinder @teamsrilanka for the immense support and guidance that you have given to the newcomers and the other members.

@besticofinder ,

I totally agree with what you have mentioned here and all Sri Lankans in this community should stand together and go on a journey of helping each other.
I always appreciate your kind and great effort from the beginning..
