RE: Steem Crypto Challenge Month #5 : Bitcoin, my experience after 5 years

in Project HOPE4 years ago

Before going on an investment trip, I watched the evolution of Bitcoin from afar, I sometimes discussed it with my friends and sometimes I watched a lot of videos on youtube to study the price courses. At the start of 2017, the price of Bitcoin was around $ 1000.

2017 was the major breakthrough not just for BTC but for the entire crypto segment. I have seen, traded and invested in BTC as early as 2013/14, I have even invested when it was 220 USD. But I was a happy fellow by selling at 1000 USD, in a hindsight I realized how big an opportunity I missed when BTC hits ATH of 20K! But when I returned in 2017/18, my life was not that easy as it used to be in 2014. Even I have burned some of my BTC out of ignorance, carelessness during those days.

A lot of people have asked me if they should buy Bitcoin. Obviously, this seems obvious when you look at the news and the number of people who have enriched themselves with this new technology.

Although not financial advice, I strongly see a bullish BTC for the next two years.

Thank you.

That's the rule of the game, to win a lot you have to be prepared to lose everything. I was and that’s why I went. I lost $ 3,000 at the beginning which was a huge amount for me, but which I didn't need to live on. So I took the risk knowing that I could afford to lose everything.
