Why do I not want a cashless society?
Your reasons are probably to difficult for regular folks to grasp and understand.
It seem to be easier to explain to them, that on top of being controlled they will also spent more (that's proven fact) and it will be much harder for them to budget their expenses.
Which again will cause them to spent more resources and probably will make them fall into debt.
digital currencies are the future and cash a thing of the past.
That won't happen anytime soon. Majority of the world do not have an access to banking even in current days. It's going to take ages to bring mass adoption to lack of cash.
Say you want to avoid paying a small amount of tax to your loved one, may get you a knock on the door

Superb comment though sadly yes it is true, Alexa and smart tv's listen to "everything" you say and store it online, the TV's send it to unknown "3rd parties" which is most likely the NSA as they have the single largest facility in the world for storing people online data.
