to me it's not just the governments. human beings are 100% corruptible. and they will corrupt no matter what, which is why i think these organizations (unicef) are simply profit seekers, who actually don't care about helping anybody. governments are there to simply make things worse.
there's apps where you send money directly to people who are in need (even to some of the most rural places and they all have smartphones!). they can help themselves rather than having a bunch of strangers who don't know anything about their daily lives decide what's best for them.
it gets rid of all the plane tickets, fuel, employees, marketing, ads, middleman profit, corruption.. all of it. just let the internet and code be the middleman and you're all set. just don't let human beings do it for you.
i completely agree for the most part. Ofc it's not only the governments, if all the other people were ''angels'' then we wouldn't have governments like that, it's really simple. The majority is greedy retard people that only care for themselves and sometimes for their families but that's the limit. No wonder why in non profit organizations always scandals break up.
If the majority of people care only about money and are corrupted then chances are the the majority of employees would be the same. Now in a lot of cases i think the way you said can help a lot and it's hard for the corrupted people to get into but not entirely! Also in some cases people that have a knowledge and can organize things better needed!
