Welcome to Sndbox Spotlights!

Today we’re joined by Ejemai, the founder of @stach (STACH) the Steemit Accelerator Hub in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. The Steemit Accelerator Hub, (STACH) is an online community based in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. @stach is a physical and collaborative workspace that offers free wifi, Steemit education and on-boarding. This is the very first example of a real-life Steemit Storefront. It’s exciting to watch this unprecedented project unfold! The STACH team is using funds from blogging and memberships to empower their local community in new ways. @sndbox is a long time supporter of STACH through the rubric of our Sndcastle initiative, we're lucky to collaborate with such a talented and enthusiastic group of Steemians!

@sndbox : Hi Ejemai! In a few words - how would you describe yourself?

@ejemai : Hello Sndbox, good to be here! I am just a random guy with the community at heart. Founder of @stach.

@sndbox : What motivated you to kickstart STACH?

@ejemai : With the creation of the First Steem Accelerator Hub, we discovered that more and more people of Port Harcourt could benefit from the Steemit platform, this grew from one city to many more, and that is why we are running Nationwide campaigns both online and offline. For those who don't know; STACH is an accelerator seeking to empower Nigeria through blockchain technology and cryptocurrency. Our team partners with local communities to think outside the box.

The #Project20millionNaija Nationwide campaign (recent and ongoing!) seeks to take Steemit to the whole Nigerian Nation. Steemit is a platform that encourages the creative commons to be free and we hope to have it adopted as the number 1 crypto in Nigeria and Africa. I have always been motivated by things that makes living stress free and profitable and Steemit offers a way out.

@sndbox : Tell us more about #Project20millionNaija!

@ejemai : The campaign seeks to get as much as 20 million Nigerians to the Steemit platform an also to enable the creation of more Steem Accelerator Hubs around Nigeria.

The campaign is in two phases, the Online- "Go Viral," and the Offline - "Steem the City."

The online campaign is actively targeting various social media platforms as we intend to leverage on the existing numbers of friends and followers Steemit users have on Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, Whatsapp, Medium etc. Sharing the posters and initiating engagements about Steemit is one very quick way we hope to get the message across faster and to as many people as possible.

For the online campaign, we created a 500 SBD reward pool which will be shared among the participants and supporters. Through strategic campaigning around all these traditional social media platforms, we hope to be able to reach each as many as 5 million people each week. From the online and offline campaign, the target is to reach a total 20 million Nigerians.

Steemit campaign conversations through #Project20millionNaija

@sndbox : Wow, that's a big audience! It's great to see people strategically using traditional social media platforms to spread the word. What's next for #Project20millionNaija?

@ejemai : The project is ongoing and we expect that when this campaign phase ends we'll have an even bigger audience for the next STACH project. We may have been able to get the attention of the Nigerian people and her government to the new reality that is Steemit and how realistic it is to create national change from the little you have.

STACH has been known to introduce many firsts and we intend to keep doing more, to me, it is just the beginning as we are presently now working on developing at least 3 Accelerators in 3 major cities with a target to have a Steemit offline presence that will help these new recruits and users settle comfortably into the Steemit ecosystem.

A big thanks to @ejemai for sharing his work with STACH! Be sure to check out his page and keep an eye on the #Project20millionNaija campaign! (50% of the SBD earned from this post will go directly to @ejemai account to support his content.)

Stach has really helped me on my journey on steemit so far. I know I probably wouldn't have still been here if not for the enlightenment and encouragement I got from @ejemai.. He's a wonderful individual if you really get to know him in person!

Go @ejemai! Go @stach!!

@pangoli, From portharcourt, Nigeria!!

Best of luck @ejemai! You're doing amazing things!

The Sndcastle's are an epic work; people will look at Sndbox five years from now, when Steem will be viral, as the start of combining the crypto world with the offline world.

@ejemai seems like an interesting individual; I hope he gets those 20 mils over here. But more critical maybe is to get them with the right mindset, expect nothing, work out of pleasure.

Absolutely, that's a great point to raise @guyfawkes4-20. A critical issue to raise with newcomers. It's all about mindset here. This platform rewards engagement, consistency and persistence and passion. So, enjoy it!

Focus on making connections with people who you would otherwise never have the opportunity to connect with. Steemit is a fascinating melting pot. The tokens might lure us in, initially, but are ultimately not the foundation that keeps us.

Thanks for the kind words on Sndcastle's :)

Exactly, is so sad when you see people joining and expecting huge rewards after one month without doing any interaction with others. And after that, they drop everything and leave.

I always used to believe that even if I would ever want to leave Steem, my friends would not let me do it. But of course, I would never go. :D

Wow! @ejemai, I love your enthusiasm and selflessness. Keep doing what you're doing,all of us at Uyo steem community supports you.

So cool to see that. I remember some of the very first community projects I saw in Steemit was this one. When introducing you new logo over the wall. do you remember that? :), I really enjoyed that video - They really work hard for Nigeria, and that example is one of the strongest work for community I saw in here. Cheers for @stach and @ejemai work! Go On Nigerial!!
