Those little Isles are beautiful. I spent some time on Iona, just across the water from Ulva. Very isolated, if that's your thing.
Yea...isolation works for us. Too many of our neighbors are globalists for my liking.
Hey, quick question. Do most people inclined to vote for Scottish independence think they can really be independent if they don't also break from the EU??
Ha, I think you overestimate the extent of globalist thought.
Most pro-independence voters are young people who believe the EU to be some kind of benevolent mother state. Anything with Scottish/British connotations is automatically bad among them, while anything foreign, global or collectivist is seen as trendy, sophisticated and progressive.
In my more hopeful moments I think it's just the same old story: those young people will eventually grow up and grow out of it.
Universities and T.V. programming..
