Hello. My name is Borjan…and i like to wear funny hats :) … sometimes…

I'm a visual artist. Painter,illustrator…photographer…and maybe a few more of those visual things. I live in Medulin, small town on the Adriatic sea, in Croatia.

And i'm very excited to be now the part of this kind and creative community, which,in my opinion,is the greatest social network concept ever.
My desire is to upload on a daily basis my original artwork and photography with little stories, memories or vignettes of my daily life and i hope they will entertain you.
This is for me a greate opportunity to learn English through practice, which i always wanted to do, but was a bit to lazy and scared by the sheer size of my ignorance.
I like to write. In my native language i write a lot, sometimes on facebook this is bordering with scribomania, and i hope that, with time and practice,one day i be able to write fast and easy in English to because i would like to communicate with wider array of people.
I really like good creative communication. There are so many creative thoughts and ideas that you will never come across by just thinking and ''talking'' to yourself.
And further, i would like to show you here in this introduction, through pictures, some of the themes and passion projects i will be uploading.

This is my biggest passion project. 200 ( approximately, a bit more really) artworks, combination of hand drawings and photography, depicting the imaginary ecosystems and natural history of some alien world, inspired by my divings and nature that surrounds me. I will publish them here weekly, like episodes of some syfy TV show.

Sometimes i will upload this kind of more commercial illustration, hand drawn with mouse in adobe illustrator. With them i pay my bills…but also have funn doing them.

Occasionaly there will be some videos to. Mostly about local nature.Like this one.

I would also like to say few words about my formal education in this visual things. I have done art school in Pula,Croatia,nearest city to my small hometown. After that i was in Academy of fine arts in Venice, Italy…but i never finished it…i was there three years…and i had to much funn having funn around, doing small jobs and traveling trough Italy…and slowly forgot my formal education…and so, here i am, half – academic artist…still doing small jobs…and still having funn….
