Introducing myself to the Steemit Community

Hi Everyone!

I'm Karina and I am new at Steemit. I hope to learn how to manage here and Post interesting things about what gives me Wings2fly to my heart and mind.

I have a friend from work who showed me this Community and I was amazed by the idea of it and I decided to join.

I confess that I need to read more about Steemit to understand how it works, but let's do the first things first, as introduce myself.

I'm from Brazil and I work in an Airline Company. This is the key that has open so many opportunities for me to travel and find out how much I love to do this.

I'll share with you my trips and telling my experiences and favorites spots hoping to inspire some of you to give wings to your hearts. In exchange I hope to learn and be inspired by you as well. ;)

    Hello wings2fly! Welcome to Steemit! Hope you'll like the community here. As a start, here are 5 tips that we believe will be helpful to you:

    1. Keep your passwords safe: Unlike conventional sites, Steemit has 4 types of passwords. Each offers varying degrees of access to your account, so know where and when to use each of them. Also, make sure to keep them all safe and secure.
    2. Get Steem rewards: When writing a post, you'll have the option to choose how to receive your reward: "Default 50%/50%" or "Power Up 100%". As of this moment, choosing Default 50%/50% is the better option. But this can change over time. Check our post to know more.
    3. Upvote wisely: When upvoting, wait at least 30 minutes after the post is published to maximize your curation reward. Also, make sure not to upvote too much too fast so as not to drain your voting power.
    4. Know your Steem, Steem Dollars and Steem Power: Steem and Steem Dollars are the 2 main currencies here. Convert and power up more Steem into Steem Power so you can have higher values on your upvotes.

                        What a gorgeous view from the top of that mountain! And those rock formations are amazing as well. You are lucky to experience all of that. Were both these pictures taken in Brazil? I followed you, and I look forward to seeing your future posts. I'm new here too. I can't teach you much about the platform yet, but I can tell you that I've really loved my experience here so far! There's a lot of really talented, beautiful people here.

                          Hi @Seldonsplan! Thanks for your comment =) That's my feeling too. I feel lucky to have had this experience of this incredible sight in the top of the mountain. I took this photo yesterday during a hicking here in Brazil and the second photo I took in Sintra, Portugal.
                          I chose these two because, besides being a recent trip, It's my intention to talk about these places in my next posts.
