Can't wait for the release of the new Ledger Blue hardware wallet in October. Anyone else got an eye on these?steemCreated with Sketch.

I ordered three of these about a month ago during the pre-sale and they haven't begun shipping them out yet. Is anyone out there as excited to get their hands on this little jewel as much as me? They look fantastic and the fact that it can store coins from any blockchain is appealing to many coin holders. Comment below what your thoughts are on the Ledger Blue.

Ledger Blue is the most advanced hardware security gear on the market. It boasts multi application execution, and packs enterprise-level crypto-capabilities into a lightweight handheld device designed and crafted in France. It is architected around a Secure Element, featuring a touchscreen and USB & Bluetooth* connectivity.

The new Ledger Blue batch is available for pre-order. Shipping date starting September 30th, 2017.

The Ledger Blue is the latest generation product from Ledger, result of more than two years of research and development. This high-end device embeds a large touchscreen to securely manage transactions and complex smart contracts. Its slick yet robust casing encloses the best-in-class technology built upon the Blockchain Open Ledger (BOLOS) platform, a powerful and flexible operating system.

PACKED WITH HARDWARE FEATURES

The Ledger Blue is based on a dual-chip architecture embedding a ST31 Secure Element and a STM32 microcontroller thus achieving a fully isolated environment. It features a LED-backlit color touchscreen to navigate easily and validate transactions. It is powered by a lipo rechargeable battery and communicates with USB or Bluetooth* devices.

DESIGNED FOR MULTIPLE SECURE APPS

Thanks to its modular architecture, the Ledger Blue runs multiple dedicated companion apps in full isolation on top of its firmware. The strong security model allows to add new cryptocurrencies or apps without risk of compromising the master seed. Transaction integrity is ensured by the WYSIWYS paradigm (What You See Is What You Sign). The flexibility of the device enables enterprise level usage: with all major crypto libraries embedded in the firmware, any type of blockchain can be supported.

I didn't know it existed until I ran across your post. I'll check em' out as my wife ad I have been talkin' about gettin' one of these off line cold storage wallets. My problem with them is they don't store, or at least to my knowledge they don't, a large variety of coins? Any thoughts on this or a wallet that stores many?

I use a Trezor right now.....which is an awesome product and super easy to use. It will store private keys for BTC LTC ETH ETC Dash zcash and now BCC

Looks like we'll be gettin' a Trezor. Thank you BN. Good stuff. I wonder when they'll come out with one that holds most or all of them? Who knows right?

wow look amazing.

Thanks for the re Steem!

It seems to be an excellent hardware!

I will search more about it.

Thanks for sharing my friend. Upvoted and resteemed :)

They look amazing, wish I could afford one now :(

If you own bitcoin you can't afford not to have one unless you already have a Trezor or something else.

That looks awesome, I'm still waiting on my ledger nano.... Makes me want to cancel my order and get one of these bad boys instead.

You could always have both.....it's a good idea not to have it all in one wallet anyway.

Haha, just what I needed, the perfect excuse!

If you don't order now, it may be while before, you can get one.

It looks like a small IPAD to me. I plan to ordee one too. So what are the differrences between the ledger nano S and ledger blue?

The nano is super small. About the size of a memory stick

I dont have any coins right now but when i invest i will get one of these but what im curious about is for example you got a coin that isn't well known can you make your own wallet for this system?

Btw upvoted and resteemed nice content

I've been looking into those, must get one 😀

I think they are gonna be hard to get once the word gets out.

True... People better get them now :)

This seems so useful.
It seems like it is going to have a really clean UI and it will definitely help putting all my crypto in to one secure cold storage.
Thanks for this share @broncnutz, I'll be sure to definitely check it out

Amazing device, its my first time see one , nice post and i will looking out for their release
