Review of カレーショップC&C 新木場メトロピア店
I was on my way to transfer to a JR station when I felt hungry. I love Japanese curry and I usually eat in Coco Ichiban. However, as circumstance allowed, I was only able to eat here.
Honestly, I didn't like the taste. Perhaps because I was expecting the taste to be the same with Coco Ichiban, unfortunately it was not.
Usually, when I'm hungry, the food tastes better. That was not the case this time. The taste was just unsatisfactory, but the volume was just enought to fill me.
I ordered rosu katsu curry (pork cutlet) - their Today's Special. However, it didn't taste that way.

It does look delicious even if it didn't taste that way.
Yes, it does look good. I just think that the pork they used was too dry. I was about to travel for another hour by train so I had to decide whether to eat during the train transfer or when I arrive on my next station. I chose the former so that my body will be able to digest the food already during the travel.
Another restaurant that came to mind related with pork cutlet is Katsuya. But it's a donburi (viand on top of rice) food shop and not a curry house. So again, I still choose Coco Ichiban when it comes to taste. But for the need to eat, I was thankful for this restaurant.
