Once upon a time

Once upon a time there was a girl, who was madly in love with a boy. They both attended the same secondary school, but they were in different classes. The girl was too shy to confess her love to the boy, So she asked for help from her best friend, who was in the same class with the boy. And so with the help of her best friend the girl confesses her love to the boy and they started dating, without knowing, however, that in a year their life would have changed drastically.

A year quickly pasted by and they were both very happy and in love. So for their anniversary they decide to take a trip together and decide to meet at the train station. The girl arrived first in front of the station and she was waiting for the boy who was a little late, as he had encountered by chance the girl's best friend on the street. The boy arrived at the station 10 minutes late, as he approached the station, he realized that there were more people than usual, and that everyone had terrified faces.
When he passed among the people he heard the people say: "I think she died, yes It cannot be otherwise because the car came with such speed over her. Poor girl so beautiful and young. She had a bow in her hair". At that moment the boy understood that from what people were saying there was an accident in that place, and that the same place where he was supposed to meet his girlfriend, in front of the station. He rushed through the crowd and he could not believe his eyes.

The road was covered in a sea of blood and down on the ground he saw the bow his girlfriend always wore in her hair. At the same time his cell phone was ringing, it was the sister of his girlfriend, who told him that his girlfriend had had an accident and was at the hospital. When he arrived at the hospital, his girlfriend's family informed him that his girlfriend was in a coma and if she ever waken up she will never walk again.
The days, the months, even a year passed, but the girl continued to be in a coma. Every day the boy came to the hospital to see the her and he told her about his everyday life. But what life? The boy's life had stopped at that moment that damn incident had happened. The boy felt terribly guilty for what had happened. He always said and repeated every day in his mind, if I had arrived in time that day at the station, this would never have happened. His mental condition was very bad, he did not want to go out of his house, the only time he left the house was to go to the hospital. He had left everything in his life behind , his friends, relatives, his school, and his great passion for football. He was like a living dead.

Seeing his very bad mental condition, the girl's parents asked him not to come to the hospital to see his girlfriend again. In short, the girl's parents asked him to live his life so he could not do otherwise, but respect their decision and so he decided not to go and see the girl in the hospital ever again. The only person who had remained close to him was the girl's best friend, who had also become his friend. She tried to help him by telling him that the accident was not his fault. She always asked him to go out with her and have fun, so they slowly, gradually started dating.

In the hospital the girl who had been sleeping in a coma for 3 years, woke up, But she had no idea she was asleep for almost 3 years. The advice that the doctor gave to the girl's parents, was not to tell her that she was in a coma for so long , so they told her that she was only sleeping three days. Another thing that the doctor had absolutely forbidden was not to let the girl look in the mirror, because her hair and even her body had grown a lot. Therefore, they did not want her to see the difference. The girl, however, when she looked at her hands she noticed that her fingers were much larger, and when she touched her hair with her fingers, even her hair was much longer. So the girl understood that something was not normal, but her mind refused to see the truth.

The days passed, and the girl always spoke with her sister and wondered, where is my boyfriend? why did he never come to the hospital to see me?
So the girl's sister decided to call the boy, And to tell him that the girl woke up from a coma, also that she had no idea that she was sleeping in a coma for 3 years, Obviously the girl did not know that the boy for almost 2 years was dating her best friend.

The next day the boy showed up at the hospital, pretending that only 3 days had passed. When he saw the girl, the boy approached her bed, he knees in front of her, and then he takes her hand and start crying like a child. From that day on, he went back to visit the girl in the hospital every day, pretending that nothing had changed between them. But the girl understood that something had changed, because it was as if he was playing the part of the affectionate lover and this thing made her very confused. The confusion and the doubts she felt, made her suffer very much.

Her sister, who loved her very much, could not bear to see her suffer anymore. So one day she told the girl everything: The fact that she had been in a coma for 3 years, the fact that her boyfriend for 2 years now was dating her best friend, And also the fact that was much more tragic, was that she could never walk again.

The next day, when the boy came to see her, she told him that she knew everything and that she had made a very right decision concerning both of them. The decision was that from that day on, the two of them had to take two different paths. And this, because she loved him so much. That's why she wanted to set him free. The boy hugged the girl for the last time and they went their separate ways.

Today the girl lives happily with her family and she has learned to live with her disability, that does not stop her doing great things in her life. She knows that every time she appears on the television, Someone is watching her, and is proud of her.
