The trees feel good around the churches. I do not know if this is the same way all over the world, since I have seen so far I think it is so. At least in Bulgaria and Greece I visit more often. In Iasi, the city of Romania where I spend this spring this is more than true and obvious. This is for #treetuesday by @old-guy-photos
In Iasi, a city where there are more than one hundred churches, the trees have to accompany these constructions, they have no choice.
Today I passed the Armenian church. A historical monument, an inscription from this church is the oldest attestation of the city of Iasi. From 1395! Unfortunately this date is not certain and confirmed by other sources.

In the courtyard of the church I was impressed by two things: a contorted tree and several stones and funerary monuments.

The proximity between the trees and the church made me think of death. Now to the death of the trees. I saw such a dead tree very close to the Armenian Church.
There comes a time, there comes a time when the powers diminish, the years pass over us and we can no longer stand, any storm, any disease can blow us. Valid for all! Both trees and people.
Finally, some photos in the church yard and what made me choose such a topic for today's blog.
I was in the situation today to choose. Letting go of writing something or posting, running away from some thoughts and reality. I chose to write by choosing an unusual subject and who can manage to convey some darker feelings. Because my mother died this morning.
