Feijoada with the family!
It won't be long before Bianca and I will make our way to Brasil.
And because most of the family was actually in the Netherlands we decided to give a small diner to see them all before we go.
I wanted to to light up the green egg for the event but Bianca really wanted to make them a traditional Brazilian Dish.
And I guess considering the place we are going much more appropriate for the occasion :)
She made a dish called Feijoada.
And they loved it.
Including this guy!
It was nice to see them all before we leave.
Only 10 days to go.
I must admit I'm pretty excited about the whole trip.

A wonderful meeting, my friend and it's very nice to see your family all together. Go, dear friend, you do not know how happy I am, to know that soon you will be closer to my beloved Venezuela and, therefore, a little closer to my hahaha, with a bit of luck, you will be able to visit my beautiful country, which says So many bad things about that, but it's not like that, despite the political and economic problem, we're fine despite what others say outside of here, I trust that your trip will be a success. And I am very happy that you are with your loved ones.

After meeting Bianca I realised I pretty much like any Brazilian food :)

Wow! Only 10 days to go! Where did the time go? It was great of you to have all the family over for dinner before you go. Saves on the good byes when you leave.
Haha interesting to see Sam enjoy the feijoada so much @exyle and to be honest as a kid I hated the stuff and couldn't understand why adults liked it so much, Brasil time is getting closer how exciting eh.

Wow look at that food, it looks like a Jamaican dish called stew peas, made from red peas or some would say red kidney beans with salted beef, very thick and then we would make rice to go with it, so it would be stew peas and rice. We all eat the same food but maybe prepared differently, enjoy it. I see the baby is having quite a feast, travel safely!
