Regardless, this is great news. Now the real work begins. Seems like you'll be traveling around for this one, too, right? What all will you be doing and just what are the development opportunities?
And what about the gym business? Are you out of that yet?

There will be a lot of travel with this job. I'll need to download a shit tonne of podcasts to keep myself entertained for the long drives.
I'm looking after the rehabilitation of 3 shut down mining operations. The development is really in the up-skilling that will be needed to manage this work and the community relations aspect of the role as well.
I'm almost out of the gym. Just working with a buyer right now.
I'll write up a decent post about the drastic life change soon.
I'm happy for you, @mazzle. It took a while, but in the grand scheme of things, it certainly could have taken longer. And in it taking as long as it did, you got a job you want, in the place you want, and it will be better than some of the jobs you interviewed for. Plus, you got to practice interviewing. :)
