Really strong write-up, @ezzy. I agree with you wholeheartedly in that whatever the context of DLive a) leaving the Steem blockchain and b) snagging PewDiePie, it’s ultimately good for the community as a whole that more eyes are looking at the crypto community.

It's not a rising tide, it's competition. Facebook didn't "raise the tide" for MySpace, Friendster, Bebo or the other emerging social networks, it cannibalized them.
