I had a neighbour like that for 19 years. I miss her the same as you miss your friend. We still have contact on facebook but as you said its not the same anymore. But still to have had her in my life for such a time was precious. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you @hope777. It is sad how it changes. Some days I miss her more than others. We used to spend so much time together and I really miss how involved in each others lives we were.
