I could see why travel would greatly benefit a person's view of almost all things. We tend to keep what we perceive as reality locked up tight in a vault. God forbid if what we determine to be the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, is in fact just the opposite, what then. From very early on we are told what and how to think. Our parents, teachers, and the rest of the village that it takes to raise a child, fill us with their thoughts on how things should be. I am not saying this is a bad thing, but our notions have been somewhat programed for us. To be an independent thinker takes some guile, for to stray from opinions and beliefs of the majority can be a long hard road to travel. To experience cultures other than one's own, I find refreshing. When traveling, Impressions melt away due to unfamiliar surroundings. We become less guarded. We don't dare to jump on our high horse and bellow our holier-than-thou verbage to anyone within ear shot.

Most people love to talk and few like to listen, but learning comes with auditory attention. One of my favorite piece of prose is Desiderata, by Max Ehrman," Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even the dull and the ignorant; they too have their story."

Have a great day!

Yes, it was only once I lived outside the US for a while that I came to even see so many that I even thought so many things I held as truisms. It was invisible to me until I encountered people just as certain something else was true. I grew so much from that experience that I try to get all my nieces and nephews to leave the country.

Great quote!

thanks for responding! Take a look at Desiderata in it's entirety if you are not familiar with it. If people would try to indoctrinate these valuable principles into their being, what a world this would be. Intuation seems like it should play a major role here.

You touch on something quiet important here; something I often run into in very "spiritual circles."

There are a lot of well-meaning and deeply spiritual people out there who are also completely out of touch with 3D reality. Whereas they might be "sitting with God," they are blissfully unaware that their electricity will be shut off in three days because they didn't even open the bill from the utility company.

It is not a balanced life, IMHO. Most people haven't (yet!) ascended to the point of not having to be present in the physical realm.

So it works both ways.

Thanks for a thoughtful post!

Bright Blessings!

Yes, I wanted to keep this one short, so didn't really get into the neglect of both sides of the coin, but absolutely. People tend to lean one way or the other in life, probably because integration and equilibrium is so hard. But I believe it is the task at hand.

Yah, agreed, there is more to us than just our physicality. That is why I believe in the things people might see has impossible has possible.

A lot of people who have refused to join steem, just think it is impossible to blog and get paid this way, but me i believe and that is why am here.

You are here, and doing quite well here, IMHO. You are an imaginative person, and because of that you grow. Before you can become something new, you have to first be willing to allow it's possibility in your mind, in your imagination. A lot of people don't really do that. They are only willing to believe what they have already been taught they are supposed to know to be true.

Summary of what I was thinking.❤

Well yeah as much as your topics recently tend to tilt towards cryptocurrency and other financial stuff, there was a time you posted more on psychological stuff and I enjoy the blend, sometimes it makes your blog thrilling and not mundane. And most importantly the mix makes impact for me

LOL, I'm glad my mixing it up keeps it fresh. Really, I go through phases where I have more to say about one or the other. You can pretty much track the focus of my life from week to week by the focus of my posts!

Yeah I definitely keep up i can still remember when you were writing about how you were adjusting to moving in to somewhere new and also so many interesting things as well, I always read and I'm always thrilled really.

I agree. And I like the blend you have. Your combination of topics has a parallel with mine. It's great to find a blog with this mix. You'll see what I'm talking about if you look at my blog or my site.

I see you're a Big Fan of Gregory Mannarino...

I enjoy mixing uo the topics as it allows different communities to converge and shares ideas which add value to the ecosystem. I appreciate the perspective it provides me in formulating my own thoughts on issues and processes as well as content relevant to share. Thanks!
