Once again, beautiful post and beautiful family. Your blog reminds me how much my family and I wish to have land here in Suriname so we can farm again one day.

Perhaps see if a local landowner with unused soil would allow you to grow some food on it, and then share with them. Lots of folks in different areas work out some pretty good, beneficial arrangements like that. Glad that you enjoyed it! Be Blessed!

Yeah, that's on out to-do list in the near future if we secure our visas. I don't think that's an impossible goal, the language barrier being more of a problem than someone willing to split proceeds from farming. We mostly regret we didn't bring seeds from Cambodia. We have so many immigration issues we didn't want to bring anything biological with us. There are only 4 or 5 varieties of leafy greens here, and in Cambodian every village has about 200 or 300. We miss our SE Asian leafy greens.
