Perhaps this word has been loaded with a certain grandiloquent sense by the frequent use made of it in the significant contexts that it alludes to. Sometimes it is only inner assent, spiritual openness, gratitude of the soul, a kind of smile of the spirit. That is why, as you propose, we can find it temporarily in the small experiences of our life (like a sunrise, a sea breeze, a clearing on a frontier, a flower, the song of a bird...), which our soul takes gratefully.
