I took the above video for @marionbowes who asked this question in the comments of the 4th instalment of my #LookUp Series
What does a "non geoengineered" sky look like?
Watch the video & #listentome? Here are some of the things I touch on:
- Why I ended up becoming an observer (childhood shit)
- No trails anywhere today
- No lines spanning horizon to horizon, expanding and whiting out the sky (like I've shown you through the #lookup series)
- I know all clouds don't have to be the "puffy clouds"
- If planes are leaving 'only water vapour' it still matters, I'll explain why once again
- If this is nefarious, what is the motive? Follow the Money perhaps?
- I don't think the sky should be dark blue every day, I understand there are different shades the sky can be
- What I remember contrails being like when I was a child

LYNDS! Ok so I broke out my weather book because I was looking up cloud patterns for @yogajill's post. The next page was contrails, and here's the interesting bit:
If the air is dry, the line will be thin, short lived, and invisible to an observer on the ground.
If the air is close to saturation, it will be broader and longer and "may last for a half an hour."
So: makes sense I see less in Denver because we're high desert and dry; more near you because you're near the ocean and wet.
HOWEVER the test can be: does it last for longer than a half hour? I'm pretty sure I've seen some do that. Maybe for your documentation you could break out a clock. Like, here it is at noon: ...and here it is still there at 12:45! So then that would be something more than ice crystals. No?
Thats interesting about dry verses humid air. I am still on the fence for this one after seeing many videos on the subject. But having said that the trails cant be just water vapour it is after all burnt jet fuel and like a car it cant all be spent. If when you are in a plane and another passed in the distance below you. The trail is black not white. If the trail spreads out and stays in the sky to block the sun then whatever it contains it must have a cooling effect. Due to some cabin crew falling sick on flights. The airlines have admitted to adding organophosphate to the fuel to stop the tanks from corroding. Maybe some of this isnt burnt and falls to earth. Havnt asked that question. But when I see a beautiful blue sky fucked by the trails of dirty planes it doent make me happy 😑😑

well living on the water and almost falling into it, I hardly see all that stuff you are talking about. Even though I live on a hill I am apparently below sea level. Never see a black trail either. There seems to be however a nice little group here on Steemit that has a whole lot of stuff going on and know one can really say things they know for sure or to be certain. Maybe we should stop flying. Like boycotting people coming and going. Which I doubt anyone will do. If I question those that are posting about this, most of them beat around the bush or go on a tangent about other things which are likely true but have nothing to do with contrails. Like some real answers would work. Like when do you think this started. What countries do it more than others. I can not remember ever see a plane with no exhaust. I know my car emits exhaust and on a cold day I see it. I know its not healthy and emits pollution. I also know if I take a picture of a line in the sky I can make it appear much larger than my eye can see. Also who is really out there doing something about this or making a fuss where it counts. I find that most people dislike being asked questions or challenged on this subject. They just want to be agreed with whilst they share pictures, like grandparents with pictures of their babies and cluck and nod their heads. Who really has the REAL information? Who has the real information.?
Like you comparison with grand children that makes me laugh. Take a look on You tube there's alot of good info there. But nothing conclusive. I believe that they have been using military planes to try out different things. But not sure how they would contaminate the fuel of every aircraft without someone knowing.. But hey there was Vietnam... Kennedy and 911.. Who knows what they are capable of concealing? x

See this billboard. I am not sure where this is posted, if at all. But never ever in my 63 plus years have I ever seen a sky like this. Not in any of the 12 countries that I have visited, or the 6 provinces in Canada or the 14 states in the United States that I have visited. This is a fake picture. There is a lid for every pot so someone will surely believe this.

There's about 15 in that billboard, in my photo ^^ there's at least 9 obvious ones. If I had edited my photo to enhance the blue of the sky, you will really be able to see the lines:

yes. I put this in two places because several people are talking about it. I think I will stick to the garbage on the ground for now. So that the people looking up wont trip over it. That is a for sure thing, tangible and nothing for me to argue over. I do not need proof..I have found some peeps to join in with.
I will do the research...but I tell ya, no one likes to be asked. All they want is for more people to agree and nod and put more super imposed pictures out there. Believe I am not saying it is not true. You are too young to understand Kennedy and what went on there and Vietnam, well I dont know, I think still too young and too far away. 911 is still a mystery. However, the point is.. of all the people that I question on this subject only two have given me some reasonable answers and where to go and look etc. Utube is a farce and mostly fake news. You know that. The rest of the people I ask either dont answer or they go on a tangent that has nothing to do with what I had asked. That is way to large of a chip. I am not the enemy. I am a seeker of truth and information. What they really want is for me to smile and nod and share super imposed pictures of a sky that they dont understand. I can stand at the airport for hours and not see what they hope to see. I like your answer..nothing conclusive. Which does not mean it is not happening. Something is. Pollution is a huge global problem and global warming. I think the Russian and the American and the Korean Military are evil and hide a lot. But in reality how much do most of the people who post this stuff know about aircraft and the atmosphere and clouds and global warming and so many other issues. Do we really know how much junk is in the sky? Sadly it is there. Just saying.
I am on the fence too, as far as I know I haven't seen any conclusive answers, I'm just keeping an open mind. After all, it wouldn't be unprecedented for governments to not care about the well-being of people or polluting the planet. I'm wondering if there is a "number of sunny days" we could track from historical records vs. now to see if it's notably different beyond statistical variation.

All I can say for certain amd from experience is that living on a small Island with on airport. And nearly all the planes landing come from one direction, is that they never follow the same track the always move to one side or the other of the previous trail which on some days fan out to cover the sky and the sun. Ever since Lyndsay put this subject up I have been waiting to get that picture but so far this year as I may have said before there seems to be less trails. And someone sugested it was since Trump pulled out of the clmate change agreement. But I dont see how that would effect planes here but it is possible that it was América that was producing the chemical fuel additive.

Thank you. That makes me so happy that at least on this one day there are no trails. I do see a lot of those days where we live, but I am not sure all of them. I never saw contrails as a child..ever. In those days though planes were prop planes. so I guess that is why. Now having said that I am so very sad, as I am still here and not there. sniff. tears for Hacketts and even for Marks fish house and his boat. xx
I love just looking up the skies especially at night time and really enjoy all the beautiful stars and the moon.
I have never really looked at the skies too much until I lived on the beach in El Salvador for 4 months. This is the first time I started to appreciate and really enjoy the stars and the moon and the sunsets and even know what time it was just by looking at the sun.
What a life changing experience and since that time I really, really fell in love with the nature, because the way it made me feel.
Loved the video @lyndsaybowes. Love watching the clouds moving in the skies, but they can get me really dizzy when they move really fast. lol

That’s the sky line in South San Diego right now, right next to the Mexico 🇲🇽 border. In person you can see the pollution easier.

Thank you actually for taking the time to do this video. If I read all the negative and never see the positive I will be like chicken little. Running in circles. The sky is going to fall. The sky is going to fall. What I am going to do is research. I want to know if there are any organizations or people working towards changing this. That is what I want to know.
It can be easy to get overwhelmed, trust me, that is why I took so much time off of taking the photos and raising awareness about the issue.
It's okay to look away, recharge. It really is. Only deal with what you can. You come first. But, yes, there are a tonne of different folks grouped together throughout the world raising awareness in the streets about geoengineering. You would easily be able to link up with local activists if you really wanted to do that one day.
There are a tonne of billboard ads in the US and one was even in Alberta for a while there.

ah. that is better. now you are talking and something to read and understand and research. It was starting to feel like a Mad Hatter's Party on here with everyone and their pictures and rants. A party that I did not have much fun at. No one knew why I was there. Once I settle my brain and everything else I will really dig my nose into it. xx But ya taking time off is a good idea. So crawling under a rock sounds like an awesome idea for sure. Hooking up with local activists sounds awesome. I will pick my poison. I do have a huge interest in cleaning up garbage...I think I will really gravitate towards that. I think the time has come to find my tribes. So..ie running, nutrition and maybe there is a garbage cleanup tribe.
Get paid to pick up trash, have you heard of this initiative on Steem yet?

I am not sure where they posted this Billboard, or if it is posted. However this is a fake picture. Never in 63 years have I ever seen this. In any of the 6 provinces, or the 12 countries or 14 states have I ever seen something like this sky. This is why people like me want to seek the truth. Trust me I look at the sky.
