The thing about every single one of your post is that yours are so carefully crafted and the pictures are always amazing. Artistically it's gorgeous! The way you create and display you are food items makes it so even if you didn't like fruit oh, you would have to have some just because you make it look so good.
The poached pears in Chardonnay look absolutely delectable! Yes, please!! I would love some! The fact that the soaks up the alcohol makes it just a little bit more enticing!

You are very kind. Thank you and also for the tip. I hate to tell you: not much alcohol left because the syrup boils... The spices: a couple of saffron threads (optional), star anise, cinnamon/cassis stick, whole cardamom and lemon peel
