RE: Market Friday in Yaletown, Under My Pink Umbrellas @dswigle, Photography, Art, and Culture

Oh I meant those pink parasols just incredibly beautiful?

Yaletown seems like a trendy little place to spend time in. I do love when a city makes an effort to bring the historic past back in a modern way that can be enjoyed by many. I do like the street view and we have many of those little pockets of beautiful around Washington DC, where they have taken an old train station or post office or even a warehouse and built it into something that maintains the history yet and say another dimension by putting in an art gallery or a place for Gathering. As a matter of fact, in Alexandria which is right outside of Washington DC, on the water front, the old torpedo Factory is a unique blend of art galleries, and different Crafters. It's an amazing space and they even use it to hold affairs.

I love that yours has countless restaurants and gift shops and boutiques. They truly are a Shopper's Paradise and how cool but they do something for trick or treating and probably most of the other holidays are seriously defended here. I am going to the Japanese street fair here in Washington DC this weekend as they hold their Sakura then, and there will be a parade to wind up the Cherry Blossom Festival. Don't you just love how these cities make pockets of fun? Thank you so much for taking the time and effort to take pictures and make a post out of this for the challenge. It is much appreciated and as always I hope you have a most fabulous day!

#MarketFriday loves you!
