Market Friday Back to Columbus Circle and the Time Warner Center

For this weeks post I take us back tot he TimeWarner Center building in Columbus Circle

The Time Warner Mall is quite an expansive mall and unlike many shops and malls in NYC is quite roomy, well it was in the early morning when I visited there, considering around 16 Million People visit the Time Warner Center every year, I guess it gets quite busy during the day/
it has a good selection of shots including this one H&M, I like this shot for both the colorful and bright store but also for the reflection on the clean and shiny floor.

This store is Moleskin, they are an italian company who sell products such as notenooks, planners and other paper products, and from what I saw fairly luxury versions of these

Diesel also has a shop in this mall and many others in the city, I have seen many of them, but I don't think I have ever been into one of there shops or bought any of there clothing which I had never really thought about that now I do wonder why, I guess because ii generally shop in stores that have multiple brands and never focus on the brand name, just find a style I like and go for ir.

Now I share a shot from the utsid eof the Mall, when I noticed this shop I had to get a shot as my Daughter in Law loves Coach Bags, and can't resist stopping to take a look if she ever sees one of there stores.

And here we are back int he mall looking along one of the rows of shots, and I have to admit I am not like my wife who can happily wander around a mall for ages, I like going into a mall, with a clear idea of what I want heading to the shop that may have it and getting out of the market as quick as possible, unless of course, the mall is very quiet and not many people there then I can happily stroll around for a little while but I much rather would be outside walking about.
Now I won't say I am not a people person, I just don't like being places where there are lots of them LOL

Oh, that first shot of H&M is quite impressive, actually. It is so much like a nature shot with the reflective moment, except it is reflecting onto the shiny floor! Pretty cool the way the lights play on it too.
Whoa! Right?
I like the idea of going into the Malls at 7 am to take these shots. The only people there are the MallWalkers. It is a nicely laid out place and makes enough room for the hordes of people that are generally there. I think it would be a nice place to run and check out the Coach purses.:)
I like your daughter-in-law. She has good taste.
I am not a brand conscious person, although, I will admit that there are certain designers that fit me better than others. But, if it was a no-name and fit me well, it would be just as loved. We have many Diesel shops too, but, they just aren't me. I gotta be me! Who else can I be? LOL
I love the long shots of the mall, I am nosy (or is that inquisitive?) by nature and like to see how things are laid out. Cool edit on the last shot and I am sorry there is no more to look at! I am a woman and I wasn't done shopping yet!

Yeah I was truly happy with that H&M shot you know me I am crazy for reflections :), well I am just crazy in general I guess but I do love reflections
I can see myself becoming an early morning wall walker in winter in a couple of years, I do need to get my steps in every day and walking around a warm mall before it gets busy could be something I would get into

I was hoping for a no snow weekend so that I can travel in peace without having to worry about the roads. I think it is just going to be a tease running through though. You do some of the best reflections, they always very show stopping shots, but, what makes them even more stunning is the editing that you have really perfected. It makes them pop!
I do love getting my steps in and most days have no trouble whatsoever, but, someday... I wonder if I will go the way of the MallWalker or will Malls have become passe by then? Yikes. Connecticut never had many Malls - ever. Even now, they have few compared to most places. Trumbull Mall used to be the only one in Fairfield County. And it had probably 10 stores. LOL
I hope your procedure went well and you are in for a quick little heal job. Nice way to get to telecommute. OMG ! Can you believe I said that!
My day is awesome!!! Plus it is almost dinnertime, so that is a plus. :)
We had a few flakes of snow today but that was all and none settled,
Trumbull Mall is my favorite of the ones here, but there is also one on the post Road in Milford, near New Bedford where the kids are theres plenty of malls nearby,
If the place we get has a basement I may even consider a treadmill down there, with a TV so I can walk and watch shows maybe travel shows so I can pretend I am walking in Exotic places
Looks pretty empty like a lot of the malls around where I live. It is really sad that things are going this way. Actually, just South of here a lot of places are moving towards outdoor malls where the whole mall is like a little downtown area. It is kind of cool, but not as practical for the colder climates we have here.
Most of the shops were open yet when I went there at about 7AM, From what I read it gets busy during the day, I just prefer it when it is almost empty I hate crowds,
I think outdoor malls are cool I prefer them myself, but as you say they probably work better in places with a warmer year round climate

Women like to scroll and browse and to spend entie day in the shops. Like my hubby says - Shop until you drop. 😀
But like you, I prefer less people around. 😉
I have never liked big crowds, and I suspect I never will
