The crowd lending option was something that totally dropped off my radar but seems to be a great option. I think it provides a great uncorrelated source of income to consider.

The apps story is very interesting as sometimes teams within corporations do not have the scope or time to donit themselves. Being a project manager like consultant can help deploy these types of solutions.

Thanks for sharing!

You’re welcome. Hope you manage to have some fun getting some of it going for your exact situation.

Peer lending sites are an interesting option, but now I need to find some local ones. I don't know if using American sites is even an option, but even if they are, I'd have to do my homework in regards to legal differences.
Something to investigate. Thanks!

Somehow I suspect these exist all around the world. Though even here in the US the amount you are allowed to invest this way varies a lot from state to state. But in most cases it beats a low interest savings account. Though I suppose it is more equivalent really to a CD, in that it’s invested for a fixed period of time.

This is amazing I have a website for work that I’m trying to get a blog going for. I want to make it profitable but I’m new to writing in that style and being able to find affiliates.

Learned a lot with this though, looking forward to more

Awesome, and good luck. It really can surprise you which articles take off, so just try to make at least a few a week for at least a couple months. Also note that sometimes a given article takes months to get indexed, but then at some point gains a steady flow of traffic with your not even doing anything new with it!

Another idea, for some of us, is writing books. I only have one published so far, and I don't make lots of sales, but other writer friends who have catalogs of several books make a lot more, probably for the same reason as your teaching courses: people who liked the first one by that author will go and buy more of those books.
I'm working on #2 and #3, which are two different genres, right now.
So, even though it's like, a couple of bucks here and there, maybe when I've published several, that will grow.
Also for us artists, setting up sites like Zazzle with merch with your art on it (again, I don't make lots, but occasionally get a sale, but I haven't added to the shop in ages because I didn't have a laptop for years. I have another now so that's on my to-do list).
You can also do an affiliate link for Powell's Books (a friend does that, so again - it's on my to do list, lol).

Oh yeah, I totally forgot that I have a couple books out. I make so little from them that that’s probably why I tend to omit them from my passive income history.

Having a shop like Zazzle that fulfills for you is another great take on the affiliate marketing idea. It’s not quite being an affiliate, because you can design your own stuff, but you don’t have to do fulfillment like you would with your own online store.

Thanks also for the tip on Powells. Is that a Canadian bookstore? I know there used to be one in San Francisco.

No, they're based out of Portland, I think. Maybe Seattle?

Thank you for sharing your experience regarding income.

That is really entertaining and helping.

Have a good day

Love the whole idea of passive income. Depending on one's skills, passive income can be obtained in a variety of ways.
Went to a craft fair a couple of weeks back in NJ and sold over $750 of these cutting boards I made.

Really great overview and incredibly practical. It is sad that passive income is something we never seem to be taught in school yet it is incredibly important if you ever want to break out of the day to day grind in my opinion.

Oh they teach us in school what they want us to know, which is how to be a good, dependable wage slave to contribute to the growth of the wealth of the already wealthy.
