I think your choice for the cover is about the best, but it all depends on your settings. Have a look at my "Plane and moon" post of today.
The planes are much closer than the moon so I had a choice to make. Focus on the one for clarity, or the other.

If you want both, then you have to settle for the best that you can get to feature both!
