Seems like forever since i have put out an actual blog post.
Doing this one is a huge push!
It is my entry into the contest by @naturalmedicine is hosting. Basically a free write about the nectar of our human experience ๐ LOVE ๐ .
The journey to Self-Love is the purpose of my life. Every moment i spend alive i long to feel LOVE coursing through each and every spec of my being.
Alas, I am enough! I am the medicine the world needs. Just as I AM.

It's so cold out! -30ยฐC that's -22ยฐF. Cold here in winter. It's beautiful that this celebrated Love culminates in the thick of winter! This year i take special note. As i embrace discovering my personal Medicine Wheel. An amazing study of the ancient traditions of getting to know oneself according to the seasons and directions. It's such an amazing study!! As i get to know winter. Like really know winter!! Love. Like nothing even describable in English.

blushes Thank-you for the amazing contest!! And, many thanks to @walkerland for encouraging me to enter.๐ it seems my ideas and images for posts keeps building and taking a back seat to real life. But, i forced this one which has a bit too much gobble-dee-gook and i am deeply wanting to get a handle on the formatting (it's totally my "thing" but i just can't seem to get there yet) for my liking tbh but, it's the best i've got right now and I am very glad you've felt what I feel through it.

What are you holding at the bottom of the "smudge" photo? A lighter stick?
Oh hey Phe! That's the first smudge i ever worked with. I am holding a stick of Nag Champa incense. ๐ my kids prefer it to sage i use for ceremony and general purpose smudge. It's such a loving smoke. ๐ป๐ถโ
Ahhh, I couldn't tell! I love nag champa too. But I have developed an allergy to it - at least the Satya Sai Baba kind I always used to get. ;.; But I once tried HEM brand and I liked the smell, so next time I see it I want to try it just in case it's brand- specific. That's how I am with candles, it's not scent-specific, it's brands. OTOH, I love Triloka incense, and there I am OK with many but allergic to just some of their scents. I reacted to their crown chakra incense, which is frankincense, myrrh, and a third ingredient I don't recall. But their heart, third eye, throat, solar plexus - all fine.
The struggle is real! You manage with so much love and grace @phoenixwren ๐ถโค๐ฆ You are such an inspiration. I am going to watch out for the incense you mentioned. Generally, i keep to what i've known an trusted for so long because most other inscense (there's only been a few!) i try are hugely disappointing. But, the chakra blends sound right up my alley. I've seen and used the organic version of nag champa. That one might be ok for you?! It comes in a green box. I generally use the one jn the blue/ red/ white box. And, there is one that i think is the hem brand you mentioned that i adore, my eldest daughter brought it for me as a gift when she visited Panama many many moons ago. I know it by sight but not by name ofhand. Thanks a bunch for the insight to the great chakra incense! Give Yuan's sweet soft belly and Maggie's adorable self some pets for me would ya? ๐
I understand! So many incense brands just smell harsh and chemical. The blue-white-red box was what I usually got; I didn't even know the was an organic version! Hmmm, will have to keep an eye out. Thanks for the tip!
I almost ordered some HEM off of Amazon, but SEVERAL reviews stated that the flavors were mixed up, like they ordered a multipack of all one flavor and instead got a mix, and I didn't want to chance getting ones that might be a problem. ๐

That's so much of Love overflowing and the pictures blend so well with the words. I loved the snow pictures and the flower ones they are so beautiful
