I never thought of making one mitten to replace a lost glove, that's such a good idea. I'm always losing one glove. The last set I bought was £1.25 from ASDA, they are made so that they are interchangeable, you can wear either glove on either hand, they're acrylic fleece, so, in principle, easy to make at home. But you know, I only ever lose one glove from an expensive pair 😂.
It's a temporal fix for few days and I'll knit another one soon :D And yes, it's same for me. I lost one from an expensive leather one. But ya, at least I used it for 7 years ...
