Hello and welcome back! We made it through Week 1 with only minor injuries, and now I'm back for another exciting round of Cryptos Against Humanity. For those of you familiar with party game of a similar name, it's a copy with a twist. For those of you not familiar with the party game Cards Against Humanity, check out last week's post for more details.

The Emergency Court of Appeals was a temporary federal court established by the United States during World War II, whose purpose was to review wage- and price-control matters. Quaker Hill Historic District (Waterford, Connecticut)
The Quaker Hill Historic District encompasses the center a mainly residential village in northeastern Waterford, Connecticut. Running in a mostly linear fashion along Old Norwich Road between Connecticut Route 32 and Richard Grove Road, the area first grew as a settlement of religious non-conformists in the 17th century, developed in the 19th century as a small industrial village, and became more suburban in character in the 20th century. Its architecture is reflective of these changes, and it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.
