The 3 Leon Kings – Encounter of an imperial Scale
Thinking of Africa and my last trip to Botswana I come to think of that incredible encounter of the three lion brothers in the Okavango delta. Being so close and still feeling safe in the Landcruiser as if they don’t even recognize you’re there. The car remains a big rock no threat no pray.
Watching them for hours, seeing the dynamics in this small group, so caring and comfortable with each other can’t leave you without an awkward question in your head. Why do people go and kill these beautiful animals for fun. I think that is just so wrong.
Anyhow I was shooting only JPEG & RAW leaving them in peace unharmed. We drove off into dramatic sunset with a long awaited rain storm. In scenery filled with thunder and the roar of the brothers starting get up to hunt.

Long but funny story long story short half way through the trip I was alone with the guide and driver so I had so much time to enjoy the wild life and take as long as I wanted for my photos.
