From life experience recently, do NOT try to go out driving any time near the storm if it's about to hit. The wind comes out of nowhere. The skies can be blue and then black in seconds. Good luck with your prep. Try to minimize the critical items that are near any trees adjacent to the house and get yourself down in the basement with a guitar.
