RE: Belgian Jupiler League Week 10 Super Sunday

Hello. Currently there are a lot of curation groups and whales curating amazing content, there's no need to buy votes. The downvote you received is to discourage the buying of votes from bidbots. We kindly invite you to join us on the #NewSteem attitude, where good content receives votes and the organic content get the most attention. Buying votes hurts you, other authors and the Steem Ecosystem in general, please don't do it.

In this case, you bought a vote by sending sports token to @sportsvoter, which is exactly the same as buying votes with Steem. It hurts the Steem ecosystem. Please don't buy votes.

I don't see any of those mysterious curation efforts upvoting the @costanza's posts. Looks like they are too busy spending 9/10 votes on their friends.

See @costanza, they are kindly inviting you by flagging your posts 🤣 Welcome to #NewSteem where the whales continue to circle jerk while they flag the small guys and preach about doing good for the platform.

@costanza, you're a bad bad boy... hurting steem ecosystem! Why are you sending SPORTS to sportsvoter (which is the same thing as sending STEEM to the bidbots) when you can join the whales upovte circles and have your content manually curated to the trending page? I really don't understand you man.

PS- @anomadsoul did you ever upvote a single post written by @costanza? The guy's been producing the best sports betting content on the platform for years now, so how many votes did you give him during that time?

I think you are making a grave mistake in what newsteem is all about. I think incentives to promote curation are very welcome but you are missing an important part of the Steem ecosystem and this trend is likely to do much more harm to Steem than good.

Not every user/investor wants to post or curate but would like to invest in a project they see as revolutionary. Vote selling and paid delegation cater for those types of users. By all means flag crap content that is up voted by bidbots.

However to attack all paid up votes is a huge mistake imo. If it is done with the belief those votes would instead go to more, so called deserving authors then think again, you will just drive away investment money. It is my firm belief that bid bots add a commercial aspect to Steem that is largely overlooked.

So judge the content, not how the rewards were obtained, most of the voting on Steem is between groups of like minded individuals and friends, at least buying votes provides a way to break out of that.

Buying votes will hurt him because he will be attacked? There is no evidence it will hurt other authors because as I said they are unlikely to get those votes anyway. I have said it on numerous occasions there needs to be other ways to earn on Steemit other than Posting and Curating, bidbots and paid delegating provide that mechanism, if you kill them you kill Steem. So no, I think down voting all paid up votes regardless will definitely hurt the Steem ecosystem.

On top of that you are now also undermining the value of the majority of all the tokens, now I wasn't a great fan of the tokens and also of SMT's I didn't see the use case, however the tribe aspect they have provided seems to be remarkably successful and as also led to the provision of more front ends.

With the exception of DEC most tokens value will reside in the fact that you can exchange it for votes. If those coins have been earned by worthy posts in those communities and by what I have seen most of those are far more stricter than Steemit ever was on content and rewards, then that helps those communities to grow and have value. By killing off @sportsvoter you are effectively hurting sportstalk.

Investors need to earn Steem because its inflationary, by attacking that aspect of Steem you are effectively driving away potential investment money, if this is newsteem then I really do fear for the future price of the coin.

One last point, you preach about how Steem should be about curating good content and organic content and yet you down vote based on none of those attributes at all but purely to discourage the buying of votes, do you see the hypocrisy here?
