Howdy today Trudee! You are very welcome. Those birds must be so fun to watch..I don't think I've ever seen one in person but don't they fly along the surface of the water and then just dip down and scoop up fish as they're flying?
We have a lot of pelicans in our area and I love watching them and taking photos of them. They look like mini jumbo jets when they take off in the air. They dive under the water and can obviously scoop up a lot of fish in those huge bills.
howdy this fine Sunday Trudee! Oh, so they dive into the water and go completely under? For some reason I thought they just skimmed along the top and scooped up fish if they were close to the surface but seeing them dive in would be even more interesting!
